The Process
Inquiry
You are looking for a floral creator whom pays attention to the smallest details, takes your vision and brings it to life in a unique manner. All you need to do is fill out our contact form to send an email with your name, wedding date and venue, along with any inspiration photos. A questionnaire will be sent to you upon acceptance of availability. This questionnaire lets us get a better idea of your vision, what you're looking for and how we can serve you best.
Concept
We will exchange mood boards whether that is a curated Pinterest board, images from a wedding you've been to or even inspiration you've seen elsewhere. Alongside the color palette you have chosen. This will allow us to go over florals you are drawn to, what matches your overall vision, all while ensuring what kinds of florals are available in this area during the season of your wedding. Having trust from our client's to take their vision and create a similar vibe in our curated style.
DAY OF Install
Sherwood Florist is a full service florist meaning we will be fully responsible for flower care, delivery and install on the day of your wedding. We will place the arrangements on the proper tables, craft your ceremony piece and take care of any additional florals across the venue that have been previously agreed upon.
SERVICES INCLUDE
We specialize in bridal bouquets and wedding party bouquets. Whether these are for your bridesmaids, flower girls, family members or even a toss bouquet for your reception. We work together with you and your vision to create a one of a kind piece that is uniquely you.
We have created a large variety of boutonnières for groomsmen, family members, brides people or even special guests. We can make a traditional boutonnière, a pocket floral arrangement, shoulder arrangement or anything you have your heart set on!
The most common floral arrangements for ceremonies include an arch piece whether this piece wraps around or sits on an arch/arbor/structure by your ceremony site. Standalone floral arrangements such as floor arrangements, arrangements that are in containers or vases that can be placed on the ground or even on a pillar. We can make aisle pieces that are sitting to the side of your guest chairs, dazzling the walk down the aisle. Whether these are multiple variations of smaller arrangements, single smaller bouquets tied to chairs and more. Loose flower petals are available to sprinkle across the aisle or even line the aisle. We are more than happy to hear your ideas and see what magic we can create together!
Flowering your reception can be the most creative fulfilling part of your day. Typical reception florals include centerpieces for each table, signage arrangements, a garland or special piece for the couple’s table, cake topping, greenery to hang from the ceiling or around the poles of a nearby structure. We love working with couple’s who want a show stopping floral piece for their event. We’d love to create a custom plan with you whether that includes hanging florals, a one of a kind photo backdrop, or anything your heart can desire!
Whether this is a rehearsal dinner or a welcome party, typically we see arrangements for tables or flowering welcome signs. If you have any special requests, do share! We absolutely adore creating a unique atmosphere to flower your memories.
