About Ashley
Born and raised on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, I’ve been dreaming in stems and petals since childhood. In 2013, Sherwood Florist came to life out of that dream, with a mission to create floral moments that feel as individual as you.
My passion falls within transforming your inspiration, Pinterest boards, word‑of‑mouth ideas, a feeling in your heart, into arrangements that speak beauty and create an unique atmosphere.
Sherwood Florist has earned a reputation for an impeccable sense of color pairing and playful use of texture. Whether crafting soft, bohemian bridal bouquets or dramatic ceremony installations. Through every step, consultation, creation, and the big day, we treats each client’s vision as our own. I’m with you from first hello to final bloom. I’ll always listen to your vision, adapt when ideas shift, and work within your budget.
Outside of creating dreamy florals and adding romance to events, I’m a wife and a mom of two wonderfully energetic boys. My youngest son battles type 1 diabetes which has impacted how I run my business and daily life.
Our Team
Our team is mostly focused around Ashley and our lead designer, Hannah. You should see both of these faces setting up your event or wedding. Along with some of our floral assistants. Including Amber, Kati and Lolly. All team members will be wearing a branded shirt or apron when working your event for easy sight. Don’t by shy and say hello when seeing us!

Full Service Floral Design
From mood board to aisle, Ashley curates each stem, shape, and vessel to pair with your vision. As a floral creator, she specializes in viewing your inspiration photos or ideas, and crafting a completely unique scenario while reflecting the style Sherwood Florist is known for.
Installations & Decor
We arrive on site to floral your space. Whether you have an arch, need a custom arches created, filling or urns or vases, driftwood backdrops, installations of all types, etc. We adore bringing venues to life with classic, textured, romantic and bohemian elements.
Day of Delivery
Sherwood Florist brings your florals to you. We deliver florals directly to ensure they are properly cooled, taken care of and in perfect condition prior to your event. Pick up is an option if absolutely preferred, however a separate contract is to be signed to release us from flower care and agreeing the florals were in perfect condition prior to leaving our shop.
Break Down
As part of our full service operation, we offer the care of breaking down large installations and floral arrangements at your local venue. This is limited to venues 30 miles away from our shop and is an exclusive service that requires an additional fee. No need to stress about cleaning up your arrangements or getting someone on a ladder to move florals around. Sherwood Florist works with your venue to reset the space.
